Makers & Shakers: Discover Local Artisans

Welcome to my virtual atelier, where every stitch is a step in my creative journey.

Let me introduce you to Ellie, a talented Fashion Designer based in Cork, Ireland.
Her journey began with thread, needles, and a boundless curiosity. From her grandmother’s vintage buttons to her mom’s precise stitches, every piece she creates is a nod to the traditions that shaped her.Let’s talk about Ellie’s specialty – embroidery, beads, and crystals. She transforms everyday accessories into wearable masterpieces. Imagine your favorite accessory, but with a touch of elegance that turns heads and sparks conversations. Thank you for stepping into her world of embroidery, beads, and crystals. Let’s make your fashion statement unforgettable!

Have you heard about Pace Grew in Bantry? If you’ve utterly caught the macramé bug and feel ready to learn the craft yourself, she has got you covered. She host regular workshops around County Cork (and beyond) and it would make our day if you joined one. This page is the place where you can find an up-to-date list of all our upcoming macramé workshops in Ireland. If you don’t see any dates listed below, we currently don’t have any public workshops planned – but you can always organise a private one; keep reading to find out how.

Finally, let me introduce you to Mamukko, a brand of upcycled lifestyle bags and accessories created by the dynamic husband-and-wife team, Nora and Attila Magyar. Nora is a skilled seamstress, and Attila is a 5th generation leather worker. Together, they craft authentic and original bags from selected reclaimed sails, liferafts, leather, and other textiles. Each Mamukko bag is handcrafted in their workshop in Kinsale, Ireland. They cherish every aspect of the process, from sourcing materials to stitching the pieces together, all while listening to records played on a Technics 1210 turntable.
Explore, create, and make something unforgettable with us! Whether it’s through embroidery, macramé, or upcycling, these talented makers and I are here to guide you on your crafting journey.
